Reo Rua : Bilingual Education
He akomanga hou i tēnei tau 2022 ki Te Kura o Manunui. He akomanga reo rua ma ngā tamariki e rima ā rātou tau.
Te Kura o Manunui is committed to integrating te reo Māori, tikanga and te ao Māori into all that we do in our school. However, for those who desire it, our new classroom will have a higher level of te reo than English Medium classes but will not be full immersion like the Rumaki. We will operate with 31% - 50% in te reo Māori.
Our reo rua classroom for 2022 will cater to New Entrants / Year One (5 year olds) and our philosophy and teaching will be based on Mana Aotūroa (Learning Through Play).
Students and whānau that have an interest in bilingual education are welcome to enrol.
